Water Portraits

A personal project of mine that was recently done at the end of 2010.  This was a lot of fun to do and a big thank you to everyone for being involved in this photo shoot at my Brisbane studio.

We really only ended up with one or two chances of each shot, before people were much too wet to continue on.   To build this setup, each person was surrounded by a 'Dexter" style plastic sheeting, hanging from the roof.  We then placed a pole with a spike behind each person in order to break the water balloon.  From there the rest was all about the timing.

It was a a great deal of fun seeing the person that had just had their photo taken wet and wrapped in a towel looking on expectantly at the next victim in dry clothes getting ready to have their turn.
